Product Description
The Pinch Bottom Bag Sealer & Closer provides an effective double closure of PBOM (Pinch Bottom Open Mouth) bags. First, the bag's inner ply is sealed - then the machine activates the pre-applied hot melt adhesive, folds the top flap against the face of the bag and compresses to set the closure; providing a strong, attractive package. Proper closure results in the strongest multiwall shipping sack available. There are no needle holes to weaken the bag, and no taped ends or thread tails to snag and rip the bag. The machine cover pivots and compression belt assembly rotates up for easy cleaning and maintenance. The primary fold-guide hinges up and away from the hot air plenum with a simple hand lever. It is equipped with a belt breakaway with pushbutton that removes belt pressure and allows instant removal of bag. The VFD allows easy adjustment of belt speed for optimal operation. The digital controllers provide consistent and precise temperature control. Most maintenance can be performed by the machine operator.
Technical Features
Fully Automatic from Bag Insertion to Closing
Simply insert the leading edge of a bag between the carrier chains or belts. All further operations are done automatically. The PBS Series is the most advanced system for sealing pinch-bags fully automatically in one line.
Seven Variations for Various Bag Specifications
The user can choose the best model according to the products in the bag and the specifications of the pinch-bags. Each of the carrier chain and belt types has single and double variations so that pinch-bags of any specifications can be handled.
Precision for Enhanced Sealing Performance
Hot-melt glue is completely heated with hot air and is firmly pressed between press rolls to totally seal the bag. For inner PE layer bags, the PE film is first sealed to eliminate moisture and dust entry and prevent degeneration of the products.
Adjustable Heater Temperature
The temperature of both hot air heater and inner layer heater is easily adjustable to suit bag specifications and conditions. Enhanced efficiency and quality packaging are realized at all times.
Easy Maintenance
Major parts are protected by sealed covers to substantially reduce machine problems. The machine rejects dirt, and maintenance and control of the machine is quite easy.
Working Process
Hot air preheating of the inner bag → heat sealing of the inner bag (heating by 4 sets of heating blocks) → pressing of rollers → indentation of the folded edge line → 90° bending of the bag mouth → heating by hot air (hot melt adhesive coating at the folding mouth) → pressing of rollers
This kind of paper bag packaging has good packaging fastness and good sealing performance, which can prevent dust, moisture, mildew, pollution, etc., so that the product inside can be properly protected.
